Scotland’s First Minister has confirmed that work is ongoing with businesses with high Covid-19 transmission risks to introduce routine testing for their workforces. "High risk" sectors include food production and distribution, a welcome development following recent discussions between SWA and the Scottish Government around workplace testing in wholesale.

Scottish Government listens to SWA as targeted £5m Wholesale Resilience Fund is launched
A NEW Scottish Wholesale Food and Drink Resilience Fund has been established by the Scottish Government to help qualifying wholesalers affected by coronavirus restrictions cover fixed costs for a six-month period from October 2020.
This follows months of ongoing discussions between SWA, its members and officials within the Scottish Government food and drink team.
