IF you haven’t already booked your tickets for the Scottish Wholesale Achievers Awards 2025, there is still an opportunity to secure your place for the prestigious industry event in Edinburgh on Thursday, 20th February 2025.

The landmark event, now in its 22nd year, has a fresh new look for 2025 but its role remains the same: to celebrate the wholesale industry across Scotland and the key part it plays in the food and drink supply chain, local economies and wider Scottish economy, and reward outstanding performance.

In addition to highlighting best practice and innovation, Achievers also exists to recognise the efforts of the dedicated people who work across the wholesale sector in various roles. The judging process is currently taking place.

Returning to the O2 Academy Edinburgh venue, Achievers are the only awards in Scotland dedicated to the wholesale food and drink sector with the gala celebration attended by over 500 people from across the wholesale industry and its supply chain each year.

With 14 wholesale category awards and six supplier awards up for grabs, it’s a great opportunity for wholesalers to gain recognition for their innovation and customer service, raise their profile, and celebrate the achievements of the last year.

For 2025, there are three new categories including Wholesale Driver of the Year which will recognise the efforts of a colleague who goes above and beyond the call of duty at work. This category celebrates the people who really do keep the wheels of the industry moving and whose achievements, efforts and adaptability are rarely applauded in public.

There are also separate categories for the Best Licensed Wholesaler to highlight the efforts of wholesalers in both the on-trade and off-trade.

SWA chief executive Colin Smith said: “Achievers shines a spotlight on the wholesale sector, our suppliers, and the many individuals who, collectively, make the wheels go round in our industry which is so important to Scotland. The people who work in wholesale are often the ‘unsung heroes’ of the food and drink industry and it is only right that we celebrate their dedication and commitment to their own businesses and the wider wholesale sector.”

Don’t miss the opportunity to attend the Achievers Awards. Tables for the gala dinner and presentation at the O2 Academy Edinburgh on Thursday, 20th February 2025 are available to book via the SWA website or can be booked by contacting awards@scottishwholesale.co.uk
