SWA Members Invited to Visit Sustainable Packaging Plant
The Scottish Wholesale Association is pleased to invite members to a site visit at the Pitreavie Packaging innovation centre at their corrugate site in Cumbernauld, on Thursday 23rd March.
Pitreavie provide tailored packaging solutions, focusing on minimising the true cost of packaging, helping customers streamline their packaging operation by eliminating or reducing materials, storage, transport, handling, product, waste, and administration.
For wholesalers this is an opportunity to understand more about what constitutes sustainable packaging, the changing consumer attitudes to packaging and to find support with challenges specific to secondary packaging (i.e. shrink wrap, cardboard solutions).
For suppliers this is also an opportunity to meet with designers and explore solutions for your primary packaging priorities, challenges, and sustainable packaging solutions.
To register, please email Ylva Haglund at ylva@scottishwholesale.co.uk
To help you make the most of the visit, we are looking for your questions, or areas of priority, to help inform discussions at Pitreavie: What is your main challenge relating to packaging?
This is a joint visit with members The Food and Drink Federation Scotland.
