As the Scottish Wholesale Association (SWA) ramps up its commitment to working with the wholesale sector to identify local sourcing opportunities for wholesalers and local producers – helping them to access new markets – its new Wholesale Local Food Champion training programme has been officially launched

The Scottish Wholesale Association is pleased to invite members to a site visit at the Pitreavie Packaging innovation centre at their corrugate site in Cumbernauld, on Thursday 23rd March.

Scotland’s most forward-thinking, resilient and innovative wholesalers have been recognised and rewarded by the industry at the annual Scottish Wholesale Achievers Awards.

Scotland's thousands of small producers lack the financial resources and capacity to meet the current deadlines for the deposit return scheme (DRS) according to a leading group of trade associations.

With just six weeks until the SWA Achievers Awards, the Scottish Wholesale Association is advising those still to book their place at the prestigious event to do so without delay as the venue – the O2 Academy Edinburgh – attracts a recording number of bookings.
